Clubhouse works completed

Boat of Garten Golf Club obtained funding which allowed us to complete an extensive programme of works within our Clubhouse.

Many thanks are due to the local tradespersons for completing the works ( a few minor details to be completed) – Terry Swinton joiner, Lewis Murray (Ohmega) electrical and the heat pump installation and surrounding works by Andy Smith of Source Energy Heat Pumps Scotland, based in Perth.

Focused on improving the energy efficiency of the building, the works are hugely beneficial to the Club in the years to come. There will also be noticeable changes in the short term. The scope of the works included:

– Installation of 2 x air source heat pumps

– Installation of a new boiler system

– Replacement of radiators throughout the building

– Replacement of lighting throughout the building

– Improved external clubhouse lighting

– Re-insulation of the loft space

– Upgrade of single glazed lounge window, to double glazed equivalent

– Replacement of 3 x external doors with low efficiency
