Apart from Boat of Garten Golf Club (founded 1898) being a James Braid course in a fabulous Highland setting, we are one of the highest ranked inland courses in Scotland (on many rankings currently 5th), and ranked within the Top 40 of all courses in Scotland.

The main benefits of membership:

Full members including Young Adult members have full voting rights at General meetings.

Full, Young Adult, Country and Overseas members have full playing rights.

All members receive discounted prices in the Bar, Restaurant and Shop.

Full members may join Spey Valley for only an extra £310.00 with full playing rights and other benefits (no voting rights).

Seniors over 55 can join our Seniors Section for £20.00. The Seniors Section play around 20 matches a year against local clubs which include Royal Dornoch and Nairn along with weekly competitions.

All playing members can take advantage of the Club’s extensive list of reciprocal arrangements (as below). A reduced green fee is also available at most James Braid designed courses and the full list of these can be accessed here
