Caddies

We have a limited number of caddies that we can call on if you would like some extra help and local knowledge to guide you around The Boat. We do ask that this is requested at the time of booking as we cannot guarantee caddies will be available at short notice. The caddie fee is £55 plus gratuity.

Payment
All Green Fees should be fully paid at the time of booking or at least 21days prior to the date of play.
All Green Fees and Hire Fees are non-refundable unless; the golf course is closed and unplayable due to inclement weather at your tee time or you notify us of any changes to your booking, in writing, out with 21days of your tee time.
To confirm a Tee Time we require a minimum deposit of 1 Green Fee per tee time.
(E.g. 6 players = 2 Tee Times so the deposit required would be £160 and the balance of £320 would be paid 21 days prior to your date of play)
Dress Code
The acceptable style of dress at Boat of Garten is smart/casual. Jackets and ties are not required but the following are not acceptable:
Blue denim jeans or track-suits,
Football/rugby shirts, vests or t-shirts.
Shorts, if worn, should be tailored, not football-style or loose-fitting, and should be worn with socks (long or sports).
Visitors are asked to observe the clubhouse rules, as follows:
All indoor areas are non-smoking, in line with Scottish legislation.
In the Lounge, Bar or Dining Area, Golf Shoes with spikes, hard or soft, are not permitted anywhere.
Mobile Phones are not permitted.
Handicap
We prefer all golfers to hold a current handicap but we realise that is not always possible so it is not essential in order to play Boat of Garten Golf Club.
