Boat of Garten’s family week continued with the Adult/Junior Foursomes on Monday; Tuesday saw a good entry for the Lochiel Trophies, which were won by Katy Hay-Smith for the girls and Matthew McCabe for the boys, followed on Wednesday by a well-attended  Junior putting competition and on-course coaching.  However, the ladies took centre stage on Wednesday when they enjoyed fine weather competing for the Centenary Salver (scratch) and the Club’s oldest trophy, the 1921 Ladies’ Tray (handicap). Retaining the scratch trophy was Millie Douglas on 77, well clear of runner-up Nia Morrison’s 84 and Lorna Hay-Smith’s 85. The handicap section was won by Anni Davidson (26) 69 with Sue McLaren (22) taking 3rd place just ahead of Sue Murray (23).  Leading scores:  Centenary Salver – M. Douglas 77; N.C. Morrison 84; L. Thursday’s event was a mixed foursomes for Mairi’s Trophy, which was won by the pairing of Caroline Bashford and Alan Boxx with 34 points, ahead of Robbie Davidson & Jean Watt who edged out Hamish McLaren & Ludka Aitken on countback after both teams scored 33pts. Filling the minor placings with 31 pts were Donald Watt & Catriona Shand and James Brady & Ann Carter.
The prestigious 36-Hole Boat Open Tournament took place on Saturday, attracting a full complement of entries from 41 different Clubs playing in good conditions for the morning round, although showers persisted during the afternoon round. The first round saw Colin Halcrow (Windyhill) set a blistering pace in the scratch section with 66, ahead of Kingussie’s Jordan Shaw and Grantown’s Gordon Hay both on 69 and Boat’s Club Champion Darren Murray on 70. Heading the 0-7 Handicap section were Boat Members Chris Helik (6) and Rory Simpson (7) both on 67. In the 8-16 section Darren Ross (8) 68, Darren Proud (11) 69 and Kenneth Roger (13) all Boat Members set the pace. 
The second round brought strong challenges for the scratch title from Gordon Forster (Porters Park) 69 and Jordan Shaw (72) giving them 2nd and 3rd places overall, but a one-under par round of 69 from Darren Murray was good enough to retain the title and the Sangster Cup.
In the 0-7 handicap section Colin Halcrow (3) came home with 73 and a 2-round total of 136 to claim the RBS Trophy from Fraser Sharp (5) and Chris Helik with Norman MacWilliam (3) and Dunbar’s John Withington (7) taking 4th and 5th places respectively. The 8-16 handicap section for the Revoan Trophy was even closer with the top 6 covered by 4 strokes and the home club again taking the honours. Darren Proud followed his first round 69 with a steady 71, to take the title and the Revoan Trophy with 140. Stuart MacKenzie (Inverness) scored 71,70 for the runner-up spot ahead of Panmure’s Nicholas Cunningham (14) with 73+69, 142. Murrayfield’s Euan McIntosh (9) pipped Niall Donaldson (Gifford) (11) for 4th place after both scored 143.  Leading Scores – Boat of Garten unless stated:
