Probably the Boat's 'signature' hole, certainly in the opinion of its legendary designer, James Braid. A dogleg created in an Avenue of birch trees. For the best position to open up the green, drive down the left half of the fairway to the bend of the fairway, which will leave a long iron or even fairway wood into the green. Bunkers to the left and right of the green call for good loft, line and length in the approach.
