There are those who will try to carry the Gully from
the tee. Others will play for the Gully and wedge for the green. Others
again will play short of the Gully to have a view of the pin for their
approach. In a free society it is each to his own taste - let it only be
said not many tee shots get the green and there are some subtle pin
positions once the ball does arrive there.
